FACT: On September 8, 2011, a widespread power outage affected San Diego County, Baja California, part of Arizona and surrounding areas, as nearly 7 million people coped with the sudden loss of electricity.

FACT: This incident was not due to a cyber-attack. However, it did raise the question in the minds of many: “How vulnerable is our critical infrastructure?”

Whether your business or agency is small or large, you must prepare for all scenarios. Join SDG&E’s Chairman and CEO, Jessie Knight, and other key  leaders from San Diego, Washington DC, and around the world for insight into the vital role that cybersecurity plays  in our critical infrastructure – utilities, healthcare, business, government, transportation, food supply, education and more. As we face a new and ever-changing threatscape from the digital arena, this full-day event will identify emerging cyber-enemies – both financial and political – that have their eyes on our critical infrastructure. You will learn how effective even relatively simple precautions can be in thwarting their efforts to defraud, disrupt, or even destroy the crucial services and business sectors that sustain our economy and our way of life here in San Diego.

Who Should Attend:
