Seeds for the Future is the perfect holiday gift! They are also perfect for birthdays, thank-you’s, weddings, or other special occasions.

After the large wildfire in 2003 destroyed many cedar and pine trees continued efforts have been made to reforest Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. In the past 3 years, foresters have planted over 170,000 seedlings in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park with only a 20-40% survival rate. For a donation of $50, the Outdoor Education Foundation will plant a young native tree in honor of the family or person you choose and mail an acknowledgement card on your behalf.

Planting a tree on behalf of someone is a unique and personal gift and allows the recipient to feel good that something wonderful has been done in their name. More importantly, your Seeds for the Future gift will provide assistance with the reforestation of Cuyamaca Rancho State Park while also raising scholarship funds for the Outdoor Education Foundation.
